As Director of Supply Chain Planning & Execution
you will take full ownership of driving end-to-end supply chain planning processes, execution excellence and operational efficiency and cross-functional alignment to deliver on service, cost, and working capital goals.
This is a role for someone who thrives on complexity, leads with clarity, and builds high-performing teams that deliver measurable impact. You will collaborate closely with commercial, operations, finance, procurement, and logistics stakeholders to translate strategy into action and you will report directly to the VP Supply Chain & Operations.
What is your role?
In this role, you lead and shape the end-to-end supply chain planning function by driving strategic initiatives, transformation programs, and operational excellence across categories.
With a strong focus on functional leadership, cross-collaboration, and continuous improvement, you build planning capabilities that support growth and customer satisfaction. You develop and enhance integrated planning processes, including S&OP, to ensure alignment and informed decision-making.
This translates into the following key responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and direction for all supply chain planning and execution functions.
Lead, mentor, inspire and develop high-performing teams across category planning, excellence and support, while driving continuous improvement and empowering digital transformation.
Develop and implement planning strategies and processes, including S&OP, to optimize inventory management, service level performance and cost efficiency. Ensure cross-functional alignment and effective decision-making.
Oversee category-level supply and demand planning to ensure alignment with commercial strategies and market requirements.
Collaborate across different functions to support growth, optimize costs, and mitigate delivery risks.
Responsible for all inbound activities (incl. customs and internal distribution network) and facilitate effective issue resolution.
Monitor and improve KPIs such as service level, forecast accuracy, and inventory health.
Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on supply chain performance and strategy.
Who are you?
You bring over 10 years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably within the FMCG sector, including 5+ years in senior leadership roles. You’ve led successful S&OP transformations and built strong planning capabilities and structures. Strong functional leadership is central to your approach.
This experience is supported by a strong foundation of qualifications and key competencies.
Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field is preferred, supported by a Bachelor’s degree as a foundational qualification.
Experience in orchestrating and leading transformations.
Strong expertise in demand planning, supply planning, S&OP and inventory optimization.
Proven experience leading large, multi-functional teams in a complex, global organization.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and change management abilities.
Proficiency in advanced planning systems and data analytics tools.
